someone had tried that on our campus, there would have been a squad of ROTC

local police and the security from the OTHER college would have been in
lockdown mode so fast, you coulda got whiplash.
Did they make you use rifles that were rendered unfirable? At my kids
highschool, they are also ROTC, they filled their barrels a few years ago
saying it was safer for the kids - in all the years they had been in the
school there had never been an incident, but the lefties felt safer...

Local laws should not override state/federal laws.

How about a god that rewards people for killing innocent people?

How about a god that rewards people for doing nothing while others die?

I dont see how anyone can believe in a God that allows such a thing to
happen. They will be in my thoughts but I certainly wont be praying to

OK, you obviously believe in a namby-pamby god. I wouldn't pray to some
namby-pamby wimpy god either.

If you're not praying to the Omnipotent God of all creation, who saves
whom he will and uses even bad events to His glory, then you're praying to
nothing.

Just remember, EVERY knee shall bow, even yours and mine.

I think you misunderstood. There is no God. If God does indeed exist then by
our very laws he is a rapist, a murderer, a thug, and a violent criminal for
letting happen what he lets happen. Even if it is at the cost of teaching a
lesson then it he is still those things.

It's easy to argue around that, if you're a true believer: Satan makes these
things happen.

Religion is a wondrous thing. It allows the sheep to completely delegate
responsibility for everything to invisible forces. "If god wills it, the
cake in the oven will not collapse in the middle".

If that is the case then God is a powerless fool and Satan has more power
than God.

The problem I get with moder day religionist is their entire viewpoint on
things. Anytime something good happens its "because of the will of God."
Anytime something bad happens its because "God was trying to teach them a
lesson." So they believe in this omnipotent God who allows rape to happen to
teach a lesson. Or a child in Africa to have her clit cut off, or a 4 year
old boy to be raped, or a man to die by infection, or a woman to die of
giving birth, or a toddler to die by way of bombing, and yet he is a good
dude. It just makes me sick really.

Actually, citizens in Iraq are allowed (by us) to have one weapon, and a
limited amount of ammunition & magazines. If they're found with more ammo
than allowed, they have a very bad day, and lots of questions to answer.

I think it is time for you to take your questions to Iraq.....

Guns don't kill people. People with guns kill people.
