Or if the kids in that classroom had acted like the passengers on

Are we teaching our kids to just let a guy with HANDGUNS just kill
them?

What the hell are we teaching our kids these days?

It's been reported on several MSM sources that the serial numbers were
filed down - killers don't do that, people that sell stolen guns and
criminals dealing in guns do that - So, it would appear that he ILLEGALLY
obtained weapons.

Hopefully, it wasn't the gun shop that filed down those numbers, or the
owners gonna have a very bad day. Maybe the shooter did it to avoid making
trouble for the gun shop, but neglected to destroy the receipt.

It's easy to argue around that, if you're a true believer: Satan makes
these things happen.

If that is the case then God is a powerless fool and Satan has more power
than God.

Religion is a wondrous thing. It allows the sheep to completely delegate
responsibility for everything to invisible forces. "If god wills it, the
cake in the oven will not collapse in the middle".

The problem I get with moder day religionist is their entire viewpoint on
things. Anytime something good happens its "because of the will of God."
Anytime something bad happens its because "God was trying to teach them a
lesson." So they believe in this omnipotent God who allows rape to happen
to teach a lesson. Or a child in Africa to have her clit cut off, or a 4
year old boy to be raped, or a man to die by infection, or a woman to die
of giving birth, or a toddler to die by way of bombing, and yet he is a
good dude. It just makes me sick really.

How about a non-intervening God-- A deist view, if you will.

My understanding is that green card holders can't legally purchase guns,
but I could be wrong.

My information on the serial numbers can from CNN, Fox, CBS.

Maybe for some reason the guy filed off the serial numbers himself after he
bought them. They need to look for the smoking Dremel.

Jeesh! another fuckin right wing idiot. Who is this left calling for a

to break it to you, these people are a small minority who are dumb
enough to think gun control could stop this kind of problem, but I see
nothing wrong with having a discussion about it. Fact is studies have
shown that neither gun control or lack of gun control, have any
effect on violent crime. Even so, I think it is importent to know how
a non-citizen here on a student visa got his guns.

Apparently, legal resident aliens *can* obtain firearms, as long as there
are no local statutes which prohibit it.
