Every Sunday there is a 12 page section in the Chicago Tribune called GM
Showroom.

Hmmm. Wonder why there's no section called Toyota Showroom? Maybe because
they don't need one?

That's advertising, I'm sure. You don't think the Trib gave them that
space free?

I'm sure they paid well for it, but why did they do it? There are several
Toyota ads, but they're not all grouped together in one separate section
away from the want ads. If they're trying to convince people to come back
to General Maintenance, they're not making their case. Just more
attempting to sell sizzle instead of steak. I suspect the GM ad section has
not produced anything like the results from the Toyota ads in the automotive
section. Proof again that GM doesn't get it. Still.
