If global warming is happening, why in the H3LL was it 27 degrees here this morning. For April 5th, that's not cold, thats F*cking KLINK KLINK cold. Charles of Schaumburg Last summer I nearly lost my lawn due to 4 days of 105 degree weather. My solar collectors on my roof nearly warped beyond functioning anymore. Nobody was home to use the excess hot water. What a scorcher! This coming summer is predicted to be much worse. Global warming means unusual extremes and that's what I'm seeing here where I live. I'm just a few thousand short for installing a 8 kilowatt off-grid system. It appears I will have enough sunshine now to make it a logical investment. The bad news is I'll have to resort to a solar cover for my pool to keep evaporation down. In the past I used to lose about 1/2 inch a week. Last year I was losing 1 1/2 inch a week. My water usage went through the roof! Usually by now I'm setting out a few plantings in my raised bed garden. Right now I don't know what the heck to plant. I hear the birds chirping in the morning which tells me it's spring but the morning temperatures are hovering above freezing. |

Two days ago I watched the temperature dip to 27 degrees as the sun rose. Yester noon the sun was out and it was snowing! Mother Nature is PO. |

It was pressure tested. No leaks. |

When the cool weather comes but the pool isn't covered yet the water loss thru evaporation reverts back to how it used to be. Splash out isn't considered because one, it hardly happens, and two, I compensate for it almost immediately afterwards. Maybe my robot is drinking the water ? |
