Default OT: Are you glad we are allies with China? - 09-29-2006 , 02:26 PM

Maybe instead of sleeping with the Chinese and giving them our secrets Bill
should have been severing our relations with them.

You will start to here the Left screaming "It's Bush's fault" because
it happened on his watch. They don't seem to understand these things
take root years prior and decisions we made before are affecting us
now. Who in their right mind would be selling technological secrets to
foreign governments who are clearly enemies of ours at the time?
Personally I don't agree with the adage "The enemy of my enemy is my
friend" since that friend can easily turn on you and become your enemy.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. But in all honesty
they will have been well aware that these 'attacks' were being
detected, just as aware as the US authorities were that they were being
attacked. Its not like it was that secret. Thats like someone testing
cluster bombs on their enemies most sensitive air base and expecting
them not to notice.

I'll agree with you about Clinton, but for 8 years Bush has been
kissing Chinese butt also.
Where's his spine? Sorry, big business wants relations with China, Bush
will never
interfere with that, even at the cost of national security. This
country been sold out by Clinton and Bush.

Yeah, like nobody in China was smart enough to figure out lasers unless they
stole them from us.

Get a grip. China has the resources to do this kind of thing because we've
been buying billions of dollars of made-in-China crap every week from them.
Their schools are getting to be top notch and their students bust their ass
for good grades and they're all willing to study math and science. Ours
don't.

You don't see Chinese school boards trying to teach "Intelligent Design" or,
worse, "Creationism," they know the way to whip our asses is with real
science. They respect learning, education and the scientific method.

Yeah - and in the next breath, he'll be pointing out that Clinton was
"dodging the draft" at Oxford. Buchanan should get himself a map and notice
that Oxford is overseas.

So what, idiot? They are within their rights to do that. Would we do
the same thing? Of course we would. Fucking hypocrite.

The idea that other people must be stealing from us if they are able to do
things we did is ridiculus. Check out our universities to see how many
scientists and professors are from another countries.

Check your local school districts to see how many top students in math and
science classes are chinese or indian immigrants. Of course it's another
story if you live in an area where immigrants don't want to live.

Don't worry, we'll have "intelligently designed" people to do math and
science, -.

This is the response I would expect from someone who doesn't have a rock to
stand on when it comes to defending one of America's favorite "allies" or
one of the most treasonist presidents. No wonder you are "dizzy".

Those interested should read "Enemies" by Bill Gertz or Google his site.
Some interesting factoids regarding China. It might elevate this
conversation here beyond a partisan circle jerk.
