QUESTION Who was the 1st US President to be impeached? I was thinking of an early President, but after reflection, I came up with Bill Clinton. His impeachement was not successful, but he was impeached. http://www.historyplace.com/unitedst...nts/index.html |

I was thinnking there was one before Bill, but I also thought that Nixon was
never impeached because he resigned first.
