Default Radio Pushbutton For Type 5 Radio in 1999 Camry - 05-09-2007 , 08:51 PM

Hi,

The pushbuttons in my Camry are loose, and yesterday one just popped out
and bounced around. It is lost.

I went to my nice(heretofore) Toyota dealer with my VIN, and a copy of
the radio type and face from the owner's manual. I asked to purchase the
single (#2) button that I need, or if necessary the set of 6. I just
cannot believe what the Parts man told me. "Toyota does not supply radio
pushbuttons. If you want one, you have to buy the whole radio."

Does anyone know where I can locate either the single #2 button that I
need, or a set of 6? If not original, that will also be OK, as long as
the button works.

Thanks a lot.

Post the model number from the front of the radio
Type 5.
Both are in the "subject" of my post.
The pushbutton has a number 2 on it.

Thank you very much.

other a missing round knob. I'dd send ya one if it matches for postage and
few $ for gas to USPS. Remove obvious from return email. I once bought
just the small round know - it was $5. There are a gazillion parts in a
car - impossible to stock individual pieces.
