Widely reported that the "chairs" in the boat were NOT attached to the boat. Heard it on NBC and CBS at least, and on radio too. NTSB investigator inturrupted the guy taking Matt Lauer's place (And doing a vey good job of it, if you catch my drift...) and told him the seats were in fact bolted to the boat and that the reporting of them not being attached was false! story said 20 drowned. Since I have more time to listen to the news, I hear
a lot of stuff that is not true and a lot of hearsay (especially in the New
Orleans reporting). Sometimes you will see a jet on tv with the sounds of a
propeller driven plane and vice-versa.
