NO SH!T!!

The union backed them down to only one unemployment check a month, but
that only lasted 3 months.

Not neccessarily. When I was unemployed (but made TOO MUCH for Mass
Health, before Romney) I was going to a free clinic and the ER. Of course,
I would go to the clinic first, but before that when I was living in
another town that had no clinic I would go to whatever Dr would take $20,
or the ER.

So, yes, you were paying for my health care. But then, I'm not illegal.
And Mass hospitals, even WITH Romney's health care, cannot deny care to
people who cannot pay.
Why would I feel better about having government money spent on you
rather than an illegal alien? When it comes to money I don't care
about the health of you or an illegal. You are both sink holes for
my tax money.

You believe in "Death Panels" and I'm approaching Blind Fool status?! The
only Death Panels in existence are the ones the Insurance companies run
when they deny treatment.

Where did I say I believed in Death Panels? Look back at what I said.
What a wimpy retort. You see death panels in the health reform bill.

YOU don't know where I got the term "Death Panel" OR what I meant by it!

Have a look at the bill your deities on the hill are getting ready to pass
and tell me where the "Death Panel" comes from, and who comprises it.

And, what the consequences are for treating someone deemed to be
'untreatable'.

Then we'll give you your voter ID back.

If you are brought to the hospital unconscious and without ID after some
sort of accident, you will also be treated with no questions asked.
Obviously, your family will catch up with the situation eventually and your
insurance info will reach the billing department, but what if you had no
family? Would you rather be left to die because your wallet got lost in the
accident?

Joe, I don't think that's a very good example, it seems extreme. I have
NEVER said no one should be treated, never. What I have been saying all
along is that *NO ONE* in this administration or the media has *EVER*
explained just who & why these individuals are not insured, they lie
about the numbers & never give concrete evidence, just speculation on
*why* they think they are not insured. And I will not waver from the
illegal issue, we cater to much to people that break the law, BUT I
never said NO ONE should be turned away if they are illegal, its in our
nature I believe as a country to not be cold hearted bastards but still,
the issues have to be addressed properly not all this idealogical
nonsense that's going on & political claptrap.

They pretty much passed the same bill they had right from the start.
You
know, the one everyone protested against?

Death panel. Funny.

Read the bill. It places the onus of the "death panel" on the Doctor.
While this has been the case in the past, there is a provision that if a
Doctor goes an extra measure to prolong the life of an elderly patient,
he
can have some of his compensation (read: PAY) witheld for not following
guidelines.

I'm sure there are insurance companies that do this. Now the government
wants to also.

What's the difference?

Who invented the term "death panel" anyway? Was it the doublewide ho from
Alaska? Glenn Beck? Other?

The term "doublewide ho" is best reserved for YOUR Ma.

I agree that we don't know **ALL** the reasons why certain people are not
insured, but I was for a short time after my divorce, due to a temporary job
change issue which coincided with a nasty agreement in the divorce papers. I
made about $23.00 too much to be covered by NY's low income plan, and had a
(very modest) mortgage to pay. Because of layoffs at Xerox, Delco & Kodak,
there've been a few thousand people in the exact same situation around here.
We're not talking about illegals. These are people who need some kind of
interim deal which covers the grey area after COBRA runs out.
