Sarah was right.

Bambi lies....

I believe, now I'm not exactly sure *yet*, I think they will be
sneaking
in coverage for illegals as well.......That is, *USE* government
money.

Anybody who goes to an emergency room has their bill paid by you
and
I.

Anybody uninsured. You know what I meant. It is an one of the many
understated, dog whistle points here that all illegals are uninsured.

So once again 95% of Americans that have private coverage are punished
to pay for dead beats that *ARE* breaking the law or entering emergency
rooms knowing full well they have no insurance legal or illegal, how do
you people defend that........THEY ARE BREAKING the law period by being
here, why is there compromise? They should recieve NO GOVERNMENT money
period, if they want private insurance go for it & pay like everybody
else.

And to your point that people assume *ALL* illegals have no insurance,
that's just a spin point & is useless in the argument & has nothing to
do with the issue. The point blank issue is *government* money used for
illegals, period.

If you are brought to the hospital unconscious and without ID after some
sort of accident, you will also be treated with no questions asked.
Obviously, your family will catch up with the situation eventually and
your
insurance info will reach the billing department, but what if you had no
family? Would you rather be left to die because your wallet got lost in
the
accident?

Joe, I don't think that's a very good example, it seems extreme. I have
NEVER said no one should be treated, never. What I have been saying all
along is that *NO ONE* in this administration or the media has *EVER*
explained just who & why these individuals are not insured, they lie
about the numbers & never give concrete evidence, just speculation on
*why* they think they are not insured. And I will not waver from the
illegal issue, we cater to much to people that break the law, BUT I
never said NO ONE should be turned away if they are illegal, its in our
nature I believe as a country to not be cold hearted bastards but still,
the issues have to be addressed properly not all this idealogical
nonsense that's going on & political claptrap.

I agree that we don't know **ALL** the reasons why certain people are not
insured, but I was for a short time after my divorce, due to a temporary job
change issue which coincided with a nasty agreement in the divorce papers. I
made about $23.00 too much to be covered by NY's low income plan, and had a
(very modest) mortgage to pay. Because of layoffs at Xerox, Delco & Kodak,
there've been a few thousand people in the exact same situation around here.
We're not talking about illegals. These are people who need some kind of
interim deal which covers the grey area after COBRA runs out.
Yes we need something, it's called *JOBS* to get their own *private*
plans. If you seen me mention my situation I had when I was speaking to
ed, I had a similiar situation, increased my college education, bettered
myself and in turn I get a job. I personally don't need to focus on BIG
companies because my wife has a plan from her job.......It cost's us
$200.00 a month.......To me that's a lot but you know what, I'd rather
pay it than whine that I need some free government shit plan, at least
by me paying for a *private* plan I'm not burdening the taxpayer. But
yes I agree, and I said it to ed, something better should be available
to help people *TEMPORARILY* until they get on their feet, going after a
system that insures 95% of Americans is bullshit & idealogical nonsense.

It's not "some free government shit plan". It is paid for by premiums
paid by subscribers, sold on an exchange by private health insurance
compnaies. Stop repeating talking points.

That statement is ridiculous.

Having made it, it needs to be backed up, which it can't be.

It's simple: There's not a country left in Europe which does not follow
capitalist thinking. If you disagree, name one European country which
doesn't fit that description.

Sarah was right.

Bambi lies....

I believe, now I'm not exactly sure *yet*, I think they will be
sneaking
in coverage for illegals as well.......That is, *USE* government
money.

Anybody who goes to an emergency room has their bill paid by you
and
I.

ANybody? I have an insurance plan. That pays for my ER visits.- Hide

But
yes I agree, and I said it to ed, something better should be available
to help people *TEMPORARILY* until they get on their feet, going after a
system that insures 95% of Americans is bullshit & idealogical nonsense.- Hide quoted text -

It's not "some free government shit plan". It is paid for by premiums
paid by subscribers, sold on an exchange by private health insurance
compnaies. Stop repeating talking points.
It's not? If those 30 million people that have no insurance for whatever
reason they are *NOT* giving, if one of the reasons is affordability
than how will they PAY eh? So what you are saying is that in the end
people will still be paying, apparantly these people are destitute from
the way they are described? If its *REAL* cheap who pays the rest eh?
Government thats who, subsidized by tax money that someone like me pays
and is *ALREADY* paying for a private plan.

I honestly don't know what to tell you. Put these people on some type of
medicaid or something I don't care, just don't punish me & the 95% of
people that are insured by attacking an entire system, it makes NO
sense. And if you support that, which I believe you do, an ENTIRE
government takeover, than you are entitled to your opinion.
