That's EVER, Natalie! In the entire history of Toyota Motor.

Still not amazing, considering recent trends

But both GM and Ford still outsells them by millions of vehicles in the US.
That's like boosting when your football team scores the most points it ever
scored in the first quarter of any game, but we still looses the game by
forty points LOL

Ford sold about 50,000 more cars and light trucks than Toyota last quarter,
so far. 50,000 x 4 = 200,000. Even with Mazda included, Ford will outsell
Toyota by 600,000 vehicles, at most.

How does Ford outsell Toyota by millions of vehicles in the US?

Toyota and Ford will both sell over a million vehicles than Honda in the US.

The Michigan-3 sales are down about 8% compared to last year (largely due to
decreased fleet sales), while Asian-brand cars are up about 8%.

It is not the number of cars sold that counts. It is the billions of dollars
the car maker earns in profits. Ford, GM and Chyrsler are not doing nearly
as well as the Toyota and Honda are in America by this count.

Six of the top ten best selling vehicles were Asain makes. And a hybrid made
the top ten list of best-selling cars, too.

That's only using sales figures in the US while leaving out the fact
that Toyota is now outselling both of them worldwide. That's like
boasting (not boosting) when your football team beat the Superbowl
winning team during the regular season when your team didn't even make
the playoffs.
Toyota outsells Ford. I don't think it sells more than GM, yet. Toyota is
expected to overtake GM later this year, however.

And it's this very fact that makes DM some of the worst cars in the world.
They are more interested in pleasing their shareholders than their
customers. GM is the worst case. At least Ford learned a few years ago
that happy customers mean happy shareholders.

Too bad they aren't making anything people want to buy.
Let's see. While I Toyota and Honda are both making trucks that are selling
fairly well, they don't make trucks that sell nearly as well as the #1 small
trucker seller (GM), #2 Ford or #3 Chrysler, in the US. Apparently, Ford, GM
and Chrysler all make trucks that meet the needs of Americans better than
Honda and Toyota do, at least for now.

Likewise, GM and Ford both build cars that are in the top ten list of best
selling cars.

A more accurate statement is that they aren't make enough models that people
want to buy, nor are they able to do so at a profit.
