Default Coolant temp change advice - 08-06-2009 , 04:56 PM






I'm going to change my coolant temp sensor tommorow I was advised that
if I open the coolant resevoir lid then close it, then pinch a hose (not
sure which one?) it sucks the suction back up and stops coolant gushing
out ?

mk4 golf 1.6 8v engine code AEH

If you're reasonably quick you won't lose that much coolant anyway.

If you're reasonably quick you won't lose that much coolant anyway.
Unless the sodding O ring has gotten stuck as I found today!

But all changed and working now.
