touched the brake wham bham good bye sam. Hit a curb extremly hard, wheel is
hanging off was in pub for 3hrs before being picked up by break down.
Golf mark 3, anyone else done this any quotes? its at the garage now being
looked at. Think the alloy might be warped also.

if its just the wheel the probably 150ish for the alloy + tyre.= 250

but who knows until the garage look at it.

i know when i slipped in the ice and hit the kerb at about 5mph it felt like
i had been hit by another car. ie. it probably felt worse than it is. so
fingers crossed

possible bottom arm bent +steering rack or track control arm,depends how
hard you hit it, but if the wheel is hanging off? then it sounds bad.
check some of the online breakers for vw parts when you find out what you
need.good luck!

Apparently its just the suspension strut so far.

now is lower ball joint, lower suspension arm and wheel is still round but
the tyre may bulge. just over £200
