Default Golf V Fuse Box - 08-15-2009 , 02:45 PM

UK right .hand drive Golf TDI 2006

Put a bike carrier on a friend's Golf hatchback.

Tried to find the internal fuse box to remove the rear wiper fuse cannot
find it where is it.

Then tried to remove the rear wiper arm just in case it got switched on
against the bike rack.

Took off the plastic trim where the nut is, took off the 13mm nut but the
stud it bolts on to is mainly the rear screen wash unit and I was a bit
apprehensive of putting too much force on the wiper arm /stud was I just
being to gentle.

The picture in the handbook of where to find it was of a lhd vehicle and it
is not on the opposite side on the UK supplied vehicle..

Not 100% but open the drivers door and on the corner panel there is a hatch
with little pictures and fuses. I think it fuse 27 you want to remove.

I had similar woes when I did mine for another reason. But brute force is
what is required, well gentle brute force if you get my drift. Just nice and
easy.
