Default Passat, water in footwell - 02-10-2008 , 04:41 AM

My 2001 Passat 1.9 turbo deisel has huge amounts of water entering the rear
footwell from the warm air vent under the drivers seat. I cannot find where
it is getting into the heater system. Is there a drain hole on the bulkhead
under the bonnet anywhere which may be blocked or can anybody help with
advise. b.burman (AT) tiscali (DOT) co.uk

Most likely coming from by the battery, see the post by the other poster for
more information. Get it dried out ASAP, the comfort control module is
under the passengers seat and will be damaged by the water, costing you a
LOT of money.
