Default 90' Golf auto transmission 1.8L, 3 speed - 02-25-2007 , 05:03 PM

Hi everyone,
When car is cold and outside temperatures low , the transmission seems not
engaging immediately in first gear. Engine's revolutions are about 2000rpm
but car slightly move. After running for 30 sec or so is fine and no
problems after that ,until next day when is cooled off. I realize it has
high miles but If someone can help with anything , I'll be appreciated.
Thanks
Dosio

1. Immediately check your ATF level...
2. If ATF level is OK, try a 'conditioner' or a fluid change. (No, not
a quicky-lube flush--those are not useful, but a real change...
