Is it possible to satisfactorily dye a VW Cabriolet convertible top to a
different color?

The short answer is yes. Check with your local autobody supply for the
right "dye". Keep in mind: You'll want to let it dry for a looong time to
keep it from sticking to itself when you fold it down.
