Default Oil Leaks Mark 2 Jetta - 04-06-2004 , 12:52 PM

I know I know. Big surprise. But I have replaced the valve cover
gasket twice and same with teh oil pan. The built in filter in the
valve cover keeps clogging and I am suspecting it is again and is
creating higher pressure and blowing seals. Has anyone had this same
issue?

Thanks BTW for the speedo repair article. I have impressed many vw
enthusiasts with my 'expert advice' on the odometer repair!!

Thanks in advance for any input

John

Make sure the plastic oil splash guard is installed under the cam
cover.

Darryl.
