Looks like a smaller Passat wagon... Is it about the same size as a Jetta
wagon, or is it smaller? It's hard to tell from the picture.

It's smaller...
http://www.vw.com.mx/CWE/estudio/Poi...,2348,,00.html about
the size of a polo... but in a wagon form... maybe it is similar to a "polo
variant" since peter thinks it is the same car...

Smaller but not by much.

The Pointer is the Brazilian Gol (hatchback) and Parati (Wagon) with the
name changed to Pointer for the Mexican market (not sure why though). The
car is actually the successor to the Fox that North America got.

Looks like the Brazilian VW Parati, which is the wagon version of the
Gol.

Thanks for the link... Yea looks kinda small, maybe it's built of the same
chassis and such, the front end doens't look like a Polo.

It's a rebadged Parati.
