Power Steering Rack Replacement

I have 1992 Jetta (1.8L,Gas, 5 speed) with power steering and am trying
to replace the steering rack. I have disconnected everything and am
able to slide it back and forth but am unable to remove it from the
car. Can anyone tell me what else must be done in order to remove it.

Its bolted to the car with clamps, take them off.

It sounds like its sliding through the rubber mount bushing, which has a
metal clamp over it, which has two bolts in it into the car. You got the
other bolts out or it wouldn't move.
