Yep.

The first 1.8t's were labeled AWD, with a K03 turbo.

They were upgraded in 01 to the AWW class, which sported a bigger turbo,
slightly lower compression ratio, smaller downpipe and VVT. HP remained
the
same, though the motor had a bit more potential.

The 02 AWP motors returned to the original compression ratio (higher than
AWW), and also to the bigger downpipe found on the AWD, while retaining
the
same turbo as AWW, as well as the VVT of course. Along with upgraded
engine
software, these were the first motors to make 180 hp.
