From memory you should find a plastic cover on the right side of the hump.
Remove the cover, and clean out the drain hose.

Having a problem with a 93 Cabriolet. Water pours in over the drivers
foot. Thought it was rain water at first, but after looking, it
appears to be coming from the air conditioning box behind the center
console. I have no clue how to fix it or what I should be looking
for. Is it not draining? Are we talking about a hose or the entire
unit? Any suggestions? I'm not really sure how to even get at this
thing.

This hump... you mean the hump in the middle of the floor between the
two front seats and under the dash? I don't recall there being a cover
but then again, I've never checked. If there is a drain hose, how do
you recommend cleaning it out?

Sorry, wrong information I was thinking of a older Cab. It's the same place
as the A3 Golf/Jettas It would be behind a flap on the firewall just about
the same level as the right side axle. Flip open the tin metal cover from
the heat shield and you should see a rubber flap. Pop it open and all kinda
crap should come out. They usually stick closed...

Sorry
