Anyone know when the V-10 diesel version of the Touareg will be available in
the U.S.?

It sounds like an amazing rig.

Not until after 2006 at least. That is when the better fuel (up to the
standard now available in the EU) will be available in the US the last I
heard. Maybe much later by the time the lobbyist get done.

I have heard and seen the documentation to prove it....there are currently
20 TDI Touareg's in Canada, still in Port...Canada is slated to get the V-10
TDI first, then the U.S. about 6 months later.

Maybe I should trade in my Golf for one....... tho I don't even think the
trade would cover a decent downpayment..... Oh well, i'd rather the Passat
wagon TDI anyways, not so big and hard to park and stuff. - so going to have
