Default where is the o2 reset on an 1984 vw van wasser boxer? - 03-08-2007 , 10:18 PM

I disconnected the battery before replacing the o2 sensor and when i
reconnected the battery, the o2 light on the dash is still on. Is there a
reset button? If so can anyone please tell me where it is?
Cheers,
Ryck

Find the speedometer cable, trace it to a small black box with a wire
(or wires) coming from it. Box has a small button, press same.

Some of the Rabbits/Jettas had a reset lever in the speedo cluster that
required a small tool.
Not sure of the BIG VWs so PeterD must know better! lol
