Default 240 head bolt - where? - 01-17-2009 , 02:38 PM

Hi, Can anyone tell me where I could go to replace a 1989 240 head
bolt? I asked at my local auto parts store and they did not have it.
Is this the kind of thing that I could get at a good hardware, or auto
store, so I do not have to pay to ship one bolt?

Thanks very much,
Jim Lee

Volvo dealer, the head bolt is specific to the engine type, generic bolt
won't work. The bolts stretch when you tighten them, they can be used
twice before they require replacement.

FCP Groton likely has them as well.
