I started collecting watches last year and I absolutely love this one. I was looking at it online for a few days thinking if I should get it because normally I am not big on diesel watches simply because they look cheap. However this watch looks absolutely awesome in real life and better than any diesel I've ever seen. Leather band fits snug and there is a second ministrap attached to it that holds the case. The 'mineral glass' (whatever that means) is tinted yellow so it makes the glow in the dark parts of the hour and minute hand useless because you can not see them. This is the one and only thing I don't like and this forces me to give it 4 stars, but if I could it would be 4.5... it's not crucial.There is a large day dial and a large date dial on opposite sides of the second/minute/hour hands. These are much handier than busting out the cell phone, you have your day and date right in front of you and the quarts movement has for the last month kept excellent time. There is only one knob which is small and does not accidentally move as well as being easy to operate.This is a truly awesome watch if you like something with a bit of an industrial look that looks/works great on casual days off or if you are doing work that doesn't require dress clothes. This is by far my cheapest watch, but as far as days not dressing up go, this is my favorite.
