I dunno, reminds me of the XC70 in a lot of ways. No Volvo engine in it
tho... maybe it isn't a Volvo chassis, but from that first picture it sure
looks like the XC70.

I see what you mean, but isn't imitation the sincerest form of flattery?

Stuart.

Doubtful because the C70 and V70, when they shared a platform, were on a
platform dating to 1992. I think you mean the current Volvo "large car"
S60/V70/S80/XC90 platform.

Maybe the reality is that the XC70 was really designed by FORD? Either way,
I am not surprised since the rumor is that the next Taurus will be based on
the C70 and V70.

Looks like a Ford Explorer variant (shrunken) to me. Don't see any Volvo
in it.

Let's get something clear. There are NO current Volvos that were
designed by Ford.
Who said there were? It's the other way around -- the Taurus replacement
is going to be on the Volvo "large car" platform. Read next time.

I did read. Did you see this from Gus?

By the way, Ford was thinking of replacing the Taurus with a Volvo
platform but latest I heard is that it won't happen.
