Hi again guys, Noticed a dashboard light come on in my 87/88 760GLE yesterday and I'm not sure what it's for. It come on twice - once for about 5 seconds and then once for about 1 second. It sorta looks like a light bulb with an 'x' in the middle of it? From memory it's next to the battery light (to the left of it to be precise). Is this the 'failed bulb' warning light or something I actually need to worry about? Thanks in advance! Andy. |

James Sweet wrote: That's the bulb failure warning, it monitors the headlamps, tail lights, and brake lights by comparing the current draw between the two sides. It is prone to false triggers due to dirty sockets, mismatched bulbs, or loose/corroded connections. Nice :-) Thanks for the prompt response - much appreciated! Cheers, Andy. |
