Default volvo v70 - 11-03-2006 , 04:45 PM






my volvo v70 has developed a problem. The heaters have have stoped
working the engine management light has come on, and when you stop the
car the fan remains on for atleast 10 mins as if the the car is over
heating, but the temp gauge shows that its not..Any ideas

check your coolant....

Check coolant level, if its ok, you have an open circuit on the Coolant temp
sensor. The ECU is flying blind and implements the fan and no heat as a
safety precaution.

Or a thermostat that doesn't close can cause all these symptoms. Read
the code that the engine management light indicates is there.
